Our Mission and Purpose

Here, we offer psilocybin-assisted therapy in Denver, Colorado- rooted in compassion, clinical expertise, and spiritual insight. Our goal is to help clients recognize their organic self-worth in order to combat chronic anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Our healing center welcomes adult individuals of all backgrounds who are seeking relief. River Soul Healing Center offers adults the opportunity to experience therapy in a whole new way, often leading to breakthroughs. We serve clients who live locally as well as those traveling to Colorado for this type of therapy.

A Space for Mystic Experiences

River Soul Healing Center embraces the possibility of spiritual transformation. While we honor the sacred role psychedelics have held in indigenous cultures and ceremonial use, our intention is not to replicate these traditions. Instead, we offer a safe therapeutic environment where adults can experience psilocybin within Western therapeutic framework.

The Three Components of Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy

Preparation Sessions
Establishing a relationship with your facilitator/therapist and setting intentions for what you would like to accomplish while taking psilocybin with your facilitator in the Administrative Session.
Administrative Session
A 5-7 hour session in which you will be at River Soul Healing Center and take the mushrooms with your facilitator/therapist in the room.
This type of therapy session is intuitive, and clients might notice that their inner wisdom and experiences might manifest themselves with psilocybin in their system and become the "path" for the long therapy journey.
Integration Sessions
This session typically occurs within a few days of the Administrative Session. This is time with your therapist to unpack what occurred while you were at the healing center and draw meaning from the experiences you had.

*For the before and after sessions of psilocybin-assisted therapy (preparation and integration sessions), our facilitators accept most insurances. *Administration sessions with the psilocybin are about 5-7 hours long and are considered self-pay sessions as the Colorado Department of Revenue has recently approved Healing Center operations. *Please contact us to ask about grant programs for financial assistance if you need help with payments

Why go to a healing center?

Clinical Expertise
Healing center facilitators will act as individual guides for your journey. It can be compared to taking Psilocybin in the wilderness on your own versus taking Psilocybin in the same wilderness with an expert wilderness guide. Thus, the Healing Center can provide an individualized therapy guide throughout your whole experience. You may find that having our guides can help you reach your destination. Common destinations include relief from anxiety and depression. Other destinations could include freedom from addictions and/or freedom from trauma.
